Extracts
The extracts that we supply are in liquid form. These are created by extraction from dry (parts of) plants, herbs, trees or bushes using percolation or maceration, possibly with heating, followed by filtration. Depending on the application the extractive medium used may be, for example, water, propylene glycol, glycerine of a fatty oil (e.g. soya oil or sunflower oil). The herb : carrier ration is generally 1:10, 1:5 or 1:1.
All products are developed in consultation with the customer. For example, the carrier and its potential preservation can be selected, giving a tailored suitability for your formula. Even with this flexibility, quantities may be purchased from just 1 kg.
